CLARKSDALE, MS (Ben Caxton) — The Mississippi State Department of Health and the University of Mississippi Medical Center will open two mobile drive-through COVID-19 testing sites today in Olive Branch and Clarksdale. The Clarksdale center will be open from 9 to 4 at the Expo Center, 1150 Wildcat Drive. Testing is free but anyone experiencing coronavirus-like symptoms first must be screened by calling a UMMC clinician at (601) 496-7200 or using the C-Spire Virtual COVID-19 telehealth smartphone app, which can be downloaded from the Apple or Google Play stores. After screening anyone found to be at high-risk for coronavirus will be given an appointment for testing.
