Authorities in Greenville are taking another shot at solving a puzzling case that goes back to June 22, 2019. The case involves the tragic death of Joe Sykes, who was only 24 years old. He was shot and killed on Sunflower Lane in Greenville.
Around 11:05 pm that night, the police got a call about a killing on Sunflower Lane. When officers arrived, they found Joe Sykes lying on the ground, shot in his belly. Sadly, he was pronounced dead by the county’s coroner.
Now, the police want to crack this case open and are willing to pay for help. They’re offering a reward to anyone with information that can lead them to the person responsible and help make an arrest.
