DUNDEE, Miss.–A possible kidnapping attempt was reported to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Dept. by the parents of a child in the Dundee community Wednesday.
The attempt was shortly before 4:30 p.m. when, according to the child, two men in a white van with black stripes drove up. The men, described as a white man driving, with a Black man in the passenger seat, noth wearing masks, said they had candy and puppies in the van.
The child did not comply and told an adult immediately.
The can was last seen driving north about 4:30 on Hwy. 61 north. A blurry picture was caught on video.
The Tunica County Sheriff’s Dept. is asking for more information if anyone else saw anything related to the attempt.
