State lawmakers authorized lottery sales to raise money for roads and bridges in 2018 and retailers began selling scratch-off tickets in November. Scratch-offs account for almost 60 percent of lottery sales but the multi-state jackpot games generate more excitement as players can either choose their own numbers or have the computer generate numbers for them. There are two drawings per week for each game. Mega Millions is drawn on Tuesday and Friday and Powerball on Wednesday and Saturday. [sc name=”twitterfollow”]
