JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — Governor Tate Reeves has announced disaster assistance for Mississippi businesses and residents in four counties hit by severe weather and tornadoes last month. The Small Business Administration’s disaster declaration means those impacted in DeSoto, Marshall, Tate and Tunica counties can apply for low-interest disaster loans from SBA. Applications can be made online at disasterLoan.sba.gov. Businesses and individuals may also obtain information and loan applications by calling the SBA at (800) 659-2955. The deadline to return applications for physical property damage is April 6th and the deadline to return economic injury applications is November 6th.
