Command 1, Engine 1, Engine 4, and Rescue 2 were urgently dispatched to South Delesseps Street following reports of a residential house fire.They battled the blaze at the residential property.
Upon arrival at the scene, Engine 1 personnel reported heavy smoke emanating from the structure, indicating a severe fire situation. Bracing themselves for the challenging task ahead, firefighters conducted a 360-degree walk-around assessment of the residence to gauge the extent of the fire and potential hazards.
The situation on-site became evident when abystander informed the responders that they had already entered the residence’s front door to ensure that all occupants had evacuated safely.
Knowing that the residence was unoccupied, firefighters quickly focused their efforts on suppressing the flames. Engine 1’s team deployed pre-connected fire hoses, demonstrating their extensive training and readiness to tackle the situation head-on. A thorough primary search was conducted throughout the property to ensure no hidden hazards.
As the firefighters located the source of the fire, they skillfully utilized the fire hoses for extinguishment.The structure sustained substantial damage, mainly concentrated in the area of origin.
The intensity of the fire also resulted in moderate heat, fire, and smoke damage spreading throughout the building.
