The Federal Emergency Management Agency initially approved relief for Jones, Covington, and Jefferson Davis counties and on Friday FEMA also approved Clarke, Grenada, Jasper, Lawrence, Panola, and Walthall counties for individual assistance. The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is still waiting on approval for additional public assistance for 25 counties including Coahoma, Bolivar, Sunflower, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Panola, and Tate counties.
