TUPELO, MS (Ben Caxton) — Some big giveaways in Mississippi over the last few days including a new car, and a $200,000 for scratch-off ticket. The state lottery commission said the ticket was sold to a Tupelo man at a local tobacco shop who asked not to be identified. He reportedly plans to use the money to move his mother back home. Meanwhile, an 84-year-old woman won a new car at an Ole Miss basketball game. In the midst of a 103-78 loss to the University of Alabama Saturday night Mary Ann Wakefield won big during one of the in-game entertainment segments. Wakefield sank a 94-foot putt to win a 2020 Nissan Altima. https://twitter.com/SportsCenter/status/1231611598655098885?s=20
