DeSOTO COUNTY, Miss.–Two teenagers died in a wreck Sunday night on I-269 in DeSoto County, said the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The wreck was called in to 911 shortly after 11 p.m.
The people killed were the passengers in a car driven by another teenager, identified only as a 17-year-old. The dead are identified as Brandon Munoz, 17, pronounced dead at the scene and Santiago Giron-Rico, 18, who died at the hospital.
The GMC Sierra in which they were riding, ran off the highway and rolled several times. The driver was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
