Wanted Laundromat Shooter Surrenders to Police

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — A man wanted in connection with a laundromat shooting in Greenville has surrendered to police. 50-year-old Delvecchio Potts of Hollandale turned himself in to the Greenville Police Department on Tuesday and has been charged with attempted murder. Potts is accused of luring a 42-year-old man to a coin laundry on South Colorado Street on January 9 by posing as the mother of the man’s children using his wife’s cellphone. Potts does not have a bond set at this time. The status of the victim is listed as stable.
