Greenville Police responded to a burglary report on August 19th in the 1500 block of Highway 1 South. The business owner discovered an air conditioning unit missing from the building’s rear. Detectives traced the theft to 58-year-old Johnnie Wells, Sr. of Greenville.
Wells has been charged with Felony Grand Larceny, alongside several misdemeanors. He is currently held at the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, pending his initial court appearance.
