The annual Christmas in Clarksdale festival is back this year with a more relaxed schedule to make it easier for families to take part in the holiday celebrations.
The festivities begin on December 1st with Christmas at City Hall, featuring the lighting of City Hall and free trolley and canoe rides at 4:30 PM.
On December 3rd, the town will host its annual Christmas Parade downtown, starting at 6:00 PM.
Then on December 5th, enjoy the charming Christmas at Carnegie event at the Carnegie Public Library, starting at 5:00 PM.
December 14th brings a day of giving with a Toy Drive drop-off at Central Fire Station (all day), along with the fun of Rudolph’s Reindeer Games at the Delta Blues Museum Stage from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
For food lovers, A Taste of Christmas will be held on December 19th at the Clarksdale Civic Auditorium, beginning at 6:30 PM.
On December 22nd, bring your pets to Tails of Christmas at the Homass Turbuchou Nursing Home.
Finally, the festival wraps up on December 23rd with the Community Toy Giveaway at the Clarksdale Civic Auditorium, starting at 10:00 AM.
