INDIANOLA, Miss.–A body was spotted by someone passing by the intersection of 3-way and Rupert Baird roads in Sunflower County Monday morning.
The Enterprise-Tocsin reports Paul Frederick Battle, 52, had been shot several times and his body left in a ditch.
Sheriff James Heywood said several shell casings were found at the scene.
No arrests had been announced in the murder as of Monday.
