PITTSBORO, Miss.–A woman from Greenville was killed in a wreck in Calhoun County.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol said Emily Newman, 71, of Greenville, died Tuesday afternoon when her truck left Hwy.9 near Pittsboro, and hit a tree.
Newman died at the scene.
