INDIANOLA, Miss.–No arrests had been announced by Indianola Police as of Sunday in the Friday night murder of a man known around town as “Dude”.
Adrian Liggins, 22, a 2020 graduate of Gentry High School, who also played football for Gentry during his high school career, was shot about 9 p.m. while driving down Garrard Ave.
Witnesses who live in the area told Delta Radio they heard the shots, then heard sirens.
Liggins was pronounced dead about an hour after the shooting.
Police are asking anyone with information about the killing to contact them. Liggins murder was the first for Indianola in 202
