FRIARS POINT, Miss.–You are being warned to be on the lookout if you drive the area of Hwy. 1 and Friar’s Point in Coahoma County. A person reported being shot at while stopped at the intersection Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies have not made an arrest in the shooting. No one was injured.
The person who reported the shooting said it happened about 4:45 p.m. and the shooter was in a maroon car. They could not tell deputies which way the car went once it took off.
