MADISON COUNTY, Miss.–Three people were killed during Tuesday’s storms, reported the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency Wednesday.
One of the people killed was Thomas Lacey, Jr, 71, in Madison County. He was electrocted by a downed power line. Paul Hardon, 63, was killed when a tree fell on the vehicle in which he was riding on the Natchez Trace Parkway.
Another person was killed in Clarke County.
Six other people were also injured in the storms.
No damage was reported in the Delta as a result of the storms, which also injured six people. The majority of those were in Wayne County during a suspected tornado.
