YAZOO CITY, Miss.–A 15-year-old shot Thursday evening about 7:15 at an apartment complex on Corrine Booker Dr. near Yazoo City, was last reported in serious but stable condition.
Sheriff Jeremy “Bull”McCoy ID’d the victim only as a Black male.
An arrest has been made. McCoy said Marquez Butler, 15, has been charged as an adult with aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon.
He said investigators are stll asking for more info on the shooting.
