GREENVILLE, Miss.–When a new airline is chosen for the Greenville Mid-Delta Regional Airport, the decision will have a significant effect on the economy of the entire Delta. You will have a chance to ask questions today at a special meeting at the airport, with all three prospective airlines.

The event begins at 4:30 p.m. and includes the current airline, Contour; Skywest Airlines and Denver Air Connection.

In addition to the Q&A, all three airlines are arriving with representatives in the aircraft they propose to use to fly in and out of the airport.

“The City of Greenville is proud to host Destination Greenville — an opportunity to connect our community with the future of air service in the Mississippi Delta,” said Mayor Errick D. Simmons. “Expanding and enhancing our regional connectivity is not just about transportation — it’s about economic growth, access to opportunity, and positioning Greenville as a hub for investment and innovation.”

“Greenville Mid-Delta Airport is excited to welcome the community for an up-close look at the airlines that could soon serve our region,” said Airport Director Levell D. Hawkins. “Destination Greenville is about more than planes — it’s about partnerships, progress, and potential. Your voices matter as we chart a new course in air service for the Delta.”
