OXFORD, Miss.–A Lafayette County inmate will likely face additional charges after he walked away from a county work detail, according to deputies.
Lorenzo Shaw was able to walk away Monday about 2:30 p.m. on County Rd. 104.
The deputy who was in charge of the detail made sure the other inmates were not trying to get away and called for help.
Shaw was found after a brief search.
