GRENADA, Miss.–Large amounts of drugs were found when Grenada County deputies raided two houses and arrested three people they say were known drug dealers.
The largest amount of drugs was found at a house on Hwy. 7 near Holcomb, which belongs to Jadarius “Tigger” Taylor, 26, who took off in a car, then ran when he saw the deputies coming, but was caught in the woods.
“Very large amounts” of narcotics, along with several stolen guns were found at the house and he faces several charges related to dealing drugs and three counts of possession of stolen guns. His bond was set at $250,000.
More drugs were found at the Mountain Lane home of Terry Braxton, 46, who deputies arrested prior to the raid.
Several guns were also inside the house and one was bel;ieved to be stolen. Braxton also faces similar drug dealing and possession charges, a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon and a charge of possession of a stolen firearm, causing his bond to be set at $150,000.
Deputies also arrested Jennifer Frazier Williams, 46, of Grenada, after pulling her over anf finding meth on her person. She’s also charged with drug dealing.
The sheriff’s department says the raids were done with the help of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
“This was a large amount of very dangerous drugs, and stolen weapons, that will not be going to the streets to poison or harm our citizens. We appreciate all the support from the community in our efforts to pinpoint and arrest drug dealers in our county,” said Sheriff Garrett Hartley.
“We will continue to work on these issues within our county. We also greatly appreciate the work and efforts of our investigators, deputies and MBN that have spent many hours, days, weeks and months working on these cases.“
