MOUND BAYOU, Miss. — As students prepare to return to the classroom, the community of Mound Bayou is coming together to support them with the Annual Back to School Rally on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
Hosted by the North Bolivar Consolidated School District in partnership with Mound Bayou Youth Activities, the event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mound Bayou City Hall, located at 106 Green Street.
Organizers are collecting essential school supplies such as notebook paper, pens, pencils, erasers, folders, bookbags, glue, crayons, and hand sanitizer. Monetary donations are also welcomed to help meet the needs of local students and families.

With school starting soon, the rally aims to ease the burden on families while fostering a spirit of support and unity in the community.
