CLEVELAND, Miss.–A Cleveland woman has been charged in the wreck that killed Torris Kinney, 32, of Cleveland late Wednesday night.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol said that Hayley Cumins, 26, of Cleveland, was arrested Friday, charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in injury or death.
Troopers believe Cummins’ Nissan Sentra slammed into the back of a 2013 Buick Lacrosse, which was being driven by Kinney, which then hit the back of a Dodge Ram truck.
The wreck happened on Hwy. 8, east of Cleveland.
As of this weekend Cumins was being held at the Bolivar County Regional Jail.
