TATE COUNTY, Miss.–A Batesville man was identified as the man found dead near Arkabutla Lake, said the Tate County Sheriff’s Dept.
According to a news release, deputies found the body of Anthony Peavy, 32, of Batesville, Friday near the lake. They did not discuss the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
Also not discussed was how Peavy died.
His body will be sent for an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.
Meanwhile, deputies are asking anyone with information about Peavy’s death to contact them.
