Airline That Left Greenville Mid-Delta Airport Closes Operations

SHARE NOW

GREENVILLE, Miss.–The airline that once served Greenville Mid-Delta Regional Airport has shut down. Silver Airways stopped serving Mississippi cities in 2024, but had already pulled out of Greenville.

The company filed for bankruptcy, but announced in June that it would be discontinuing all service because the company was not able to successfully restructure under the terms of its bankruptcy filing.

Silver was one in a succession of airlines to serve the airport, which has included SeaPort Airlines and Boutique Air.

Contour began service at the airport in 2021, but has been replaced as of Oct. 1, 2025, with Denver Airways.
