HOLMES COUNTY, Miss. — A Benton woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 55 in Holmes County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 12:47 p.m. near mile marker 164. Authorities said a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover, driven by 66-year-old Sheryl C. Mann, was traveling southbound when it left the roadway and struck a ditch in the median.
Mann sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
