CLARKSDALE, Miss. — Students at Clarksdale Collegiate will take the stage for the school’s first play, There’s No Place Like Oz, presented through its 21st Century Program in partnership with StoryWorks Theater.
The performances are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. in the Clarksdale Collegiate Elementary School Auditorium.
Organizers said the production is a chance for scholars to showcase their talents while sharing a classic story with family, friends and community members.
The play marks the school’s first theater performance since launching the 21st Century Program.
