FBI Seeks Public’s Help in Leland Homecoming Mass Shooting Investigation

LELAND, Miss. — The FBI’s Jackson Field Office, in coordination with local law enforcement agencies, is seeking the public’s help in identifying those responsible for a mass shooting that occurred shortly after midnight on Oct. 11 at the intersection of Fourth Street and North Main Street in Leland.

Authorities said the incident took place during Leland’s homecoming festivities. Investigators are asking anyone who may have photos or videos from the scene to share them with law enforcement as part of the ongoing investigation.

Members of the public can submit information, images, or footage through the FBI’s “Seeking Information” portal related to the Leland homecoming shooting.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324), their local FBI office, the nearest American Embassy or Consulate, or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.

The case is being investigated by the FBI Jackson Field Office in partnership with local authorities.
