MOUND BAYOU, Miss. — The City of Mound Bayou is hosting a community food drive to help families impacted by the ongoing government shutdown.
The drive is being held at Mound Bayou City Hall, located at 106 Green Street, and aims to collect nonperishable food items and canned goods. All donations will benefit Saint Gabriel’s Pantry, which serves local families in need.
Residents can drop off items Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
