ROBINSONVILLE, Miss. — A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized Saturday after being shot multiple times at a Robinsonville housing complex, according to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched around 5:05 p.m. to Kirby Road Estates at 2669 Kirby Road after receiving a 911 call from a male reporting he had been shot. When deputies arrived, they found the teen suffering from several gunshot wounds.

Pafford Emergency Medical Services treated the victim at the scene before he was flown by Wings air ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment. His condition was not immediately released.

Investigators have identified a 15-year-old boy as the suspected shooter. Because both individuals are juveniles, authorities said no additional identifying information will be released.

The investigation remains active. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office at 662-363-1411. Anonymous tips can be submitted to CrimeStoppers at 662-910-0400, and information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
