MOORHEAD, Miss. — Mississippi Delta Community College will close all campus locations Monday through Wednesday, Jan. 26–28, due to inclement weather and widespread power outages.
College officials said the school will not transition to virtual learning during the closure because of the extensive loss of power across the region. Residence halls and the campus cafeteria will remain open during this time.
Only essential employees are expected to report to their campus locations, according to the college.
A decision regarding campus operations for Thursday will be announced by noon Wednesday.
