GREENVILLE, Miss. — Firefighters responded Monday evening to a reported houseboat fire on Lake Ferguson near the rear of the Yacht Club, authorities said.
The Greenville Fire Department was dispatched to the scene, while volunteer firefighters were also called to assist. The fire occurred in an unincorporated area of the county.
No injuries have been reported, officials said. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
The situation remains under investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
