CLARKSDALE, Miss. — One person was airlifted to a regional trauma center after a rollover crash along Highway 61 South, according to local authorities.
Coahoma County Fire Department crews and Pafford EMS units were dispatched to the scene following reports of an overturned vehicle. Upon arrival, firefighters found an individual outside the vehicle with severe traumatic injuries.
Paramedics provided immediate medical care before the victim transported by air ambulance to a regional trauma center. The individual’s condition has not been released.
Firefighters from Lyon, Lula and Jonestown assisted in the response.
