GREENVILLE, Miss. — Greenville police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday evening on East Walker Street.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, in the 400 block of East Walker Street.
Police located Lakendrick “Big Mane” Motton inside a black Chevrolet Impala near the 300 block of East Walker Street. Motton had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel.
The Greenville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
No arrests have been announced.
