MAGNOLIA, AR (Ben Caxton) — An Arkansas Police Chief is recovering from minor injuries after being shot by one of his own officers. Magnolia Police Chief Todd Dew was serving an arrest warrant last week along with fellow officers on a man who was wanted for probation violations when one of his men’s guns accidentally discharged, striking him. Reports say Drew was wearing a bulletproof vest at the time but suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in Magnolia for observation.
