LITTLE ROCK, AR (Ben Caxton) — While many businesses have suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic, medical marijuana dispensaries in Arkansas are booming. Nearly $30 million worth has been sold since March 1st, about 40% of total sales since the stateâs first dispensary opened last May. When the CDC recommended citizens maintain at least a two-week supply of prescription medication, medical marijuana patients in Arkansas started buying the largest amount allowed by law, and sales have remained extremely strong since mid-March.
