MONTICELLO, AR (Ben Caxton) — A Friday traffic accident in Union County Arkansas claimed the life of a Monticello bicyclist. 43-year-old Jason Williams was killed around 6:45 PM while riding eastbound along U.S. Highway 82 in strong. The Arkansas State Police say the bicycle he was riding struck the left front of a westbound Honda Accord, ejecting Williams who then struck the windshield of the car before landing in the westbound lane of the highway where he was struck by a westbound Ford Edge. The drivers of the Honda Accord and the Ford Edge were not injured.
