LITTLE ROCK, AR (Ben Caxton) — The Arkansas Department of Health says 46 people in that state have died from the flu this season, including one pediatric death. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates there have been 12,000 flu deaths including 78 pediatric deaths nationwide this season. Flu activity is reported to be widespread in 49 states.
