DREW COUNTY, AR (Ben Caxton) — The Drew County Sheriff on Friday notified the public that a person on the registered sex offenders list has taken up residence in Wilmar. According to Sheriff Mark Gober, 58-year-old Kevin Robinson, also known as Bilal Salaam, has moved to the 100 block of Herman Lane in Wilmar. Robinson is a Level 4 registered sex offender who has served time in prison under the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections. Gober noted that Robinson is not wanted by law enforcement, and the announcement is not intended to increase fear. He said rather it is their belief that “an informed public is a safer public” and that any use of the information to threaten or intimidate Robinson will not be tolerated.
