HOLLY BLUFF, Miss.–A Rolling Fork man is dead after driving into Lake George near Holly Bluff in Yazoo County early Saturday morning.

Yazoo County Coroner Ricky Shivers identified the man as Kyeternity Moore, 19.

Yazoo County 911 received a call about 3:30 Saturday morning from a man saying he had driven off into what he thought was a river. When authorities got there a few minutes later they could see tail lights in the flood waters of Lake George.

They could not find the driver.

When a dive team got there they began a search of the water and found the man’s body in the lake, but not inside the car.

The incident is still under investigation by the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Dept. and the Mississippi Dept. of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
