The search is on for a missing Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office employee and county inmate.
Authorities said Vicki White, who is the Assistant Director of Corrections, left the detention center Friday at 9:30 a.m. to transport Casey Cole White to the county courthouse. We’re told they haven’t been seen since leaving the detention center. The two have no relations.
Investigators found the transport vehicle in the parking lot of a shopping center. White is in jail on capital murder charges. Authorities said no one knew the two were missing until 3:30 p.m.
