CLARKSDALE, Miss.–Another round of dangerously cold weather is headed for the Delta, said the National Weather Service, Wednesday.
Just like with the last round, the forecast is subject to change.
A cold front is expected to come through Saturday and Saturday night, bringing chances for rain, but also dropping the temperatures, which by Saturday will bring the high to 67. Sunday the high is expected in the upper 30s.
The highs Monday and Tuesday are expected near freezing, with lows Monday and Tuesday mornings in the upper teens in some places.
A chance for snow has been added to the forecast for Tuesday. But, predicting wintry precipitation that far in advance is tricky.
