CLEVELAND, Miss. — K-12 STEM educators in the Mississippi Delta now have an extended opportunity to apply for the STEM in a Box professional development program. The initiative, designed to support STEM education in classrooms across the region, offers free resources, training, and stipends.
Teachers can apply through February 25, 2025, for the summer training session set for June 9-12, 2025, at Delta State University. The program includes hands-on STEM experience, along with 2.4 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits for participation.
The STEM in a Box program provides participants with free resource kits, professional development tools, and stipends to enhance STEM education in the classroom. Interested teachers can apply by scanning the QR code in the promotional materials or by visiting the provided link.
