A 19-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot twice in the lower leg on January 1st at Sunset Village Apartments in Bolivar County.
According to the Bolivar County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene at approximately 12:50 p.m. and found Calvin West of Shaw suffering from gunshot wounds. West was transported to Bolivar Medical Center by Pafford Ambulance Service.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred following an argument. The suspect, Markevious Thomas, 18, of Cleveland, is wanted in connection with the incident.
