COLDWATER, Miss.–A man who was killed in a crash in Tate County Wednesday was identified over the weekend by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Ray Freeman, 80, of Coldwater, died at the hospital following the wreck, which happened shortly before 9 p.m.
The Highway Patrol says Freeman was attempting to make a left turn onto Hwy. 305 from Hwy. 4, when his 2017 Toyota Tundra was hit by a 2009 Nissan Versa, being driven by a 52-year-old, whose ID was not given out.
Both the driver of the Versa and an 18-year-old passenger were hurt.
