Final Testimonies Heard in Timothy Harrington Murder Trial Ahead of Closing Arguments

OXFORD, Miss.–The prosecution rested their case and just a few hours later the defense followed, in the final day of testimony in the trial of Timothy Harrington, of Grenada, who is accused of murdering Ole Miss student Jimmy “jay” Lee in 2022, then disposing of his body.

The defense attempted to put holes in the prosecution’s contention that Harrington used a box truck and wheelbarrow he often used in his moving business, to transport Lee’s body.
One witness interviewed was Jeremiah Love, a relative and lifelong friend of Harrington’s, who often helped with moves. He testified the wheelbarrow and truck were in the same shape following the murder that they were in before.
The defense contends that the police and prosecutors have little to prove their theory.
Closing arguments were set to begin Wednesday.
