YAZOO CITY, Miss.–A Florida man already serving 15 years at the federal prison in Yazoo City, got another year and four months for possessing contraband inside the prison.
A federal judge sentenced Frederick Joshua Scott, 36, Thursday. He pleaded guilty in November to having 15 individually wrapped baggies of meth.
Scott was serving time for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The sentences will be served consecutively, meaning Scott will have to serve the extra 15 months after the 15 years.
