YAZOO CITY, Miss.–A fourth person has been arrested in the murder of Willtavious Knox in Yazoo City, said the police department in a Facebook post, Thursday. The FBI and Yazoo City Police had announced last month that they believed at least five people to be responsible for Knox’s murder.
The person arrested was identified as Eric Shinall, Jr. The post said he was arrested April 24. The information was not released until Thursday.
Knox was murdered Dec. 17, 2024, at a home on Jackson Ave.
In March police announced the arrest of Azarion Hatcher, who is charged with capital murder, carjacking, kidnapping and robbery. Two other people, as yet unidentified by law enforcement, face similar charges.
