GREENVILLE, Miss. — The Greenville Police Department is investigating a homicide after an adult man was found dead Saturday morning in the 200 block of North Seventh Street.
Officers responded at approximately 9:10 a.m. Saturday to a report of an unresponsive man at 212 N. Seventh St., according to the Greenville Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male inside a shed behind the residence. The man, later identified as Harold Charles, was unresponsive and had apparent traumatic injuries. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Charles dead.
After investigators completed their on-scene investigation, Charles’ body was released to the Washington County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing.
