GREENVILLE, Miss. — The Greenville public school district collected more than 3,800 canned and non-perishable food items during its annual “Yes We Can Food Drive 2024.”
The donations were delivered to the Hearty Helpings Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen, helping restock supplies for the Christmas season and providing ongoing support to local families in need.
District officials expressed gratitude to supporters, donors, staff, and the maintenance department for their contributions to the effort. The drive is part of the district’s ongoing initiative to combat hunger and support the community during the holidays and beyond.
